Spiders Wrap Up ECAC Championship

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Spider Track and Field team wrapped-up the final day of action at the ECAC/IC4A Championships. The Distance Medley Relay of Amanda Corbosiero, Claire Brown, Brooke Fazio and Marshea Robinson won in a time of 11:23.71.Â
Ave Grosenheider set a personal-best in the 3,000m with a time of 9:40.20. She finished sixth overall in the event. Colleen Carney turned in a time of 9:45.42 to finish 11th overall while Kylie Regan was 19th at 10:00.22.Â
After setting a new school record in the 4x800m during prelims, the Spiders finished fourth in the finals turning in a time of 8:59.93.Â
On the men's side, Alex Lucking competed in the 3,000m crossing the line in a time of 8:16.35 for 11th place.
The Spiders will open the outdoor season on March 16-18 at the Ram Invite at SportsBackers.Â
