Spiders Set to Begin Summer Ball

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. --Â The Spider Baseball team closed out an exciting and record-setting season last week in the Atlantic 10 Tournament. Richmond finished the season with a 32-24 mark overall and finished fourth in the A-10 at 15-9. Several Spiders broke into the record book while five players earned All-Conference honors. In addition, the 32 win-mark was the most since 2007 and the most for Tracy Woodson during his five seasons as the head coach at Richmond. Highlighting the exciting season were wins over now-ranked and NCAA Tournament participant Jacksonville and an 11-3 victory over perennial power Virginia.Â
With the season over, several Spiders took their talents to various summer ball leagues.Â
