Spiders to Compete at 2018 Paul Short Run

This Saturday, September 29th, the Spiders will travel to Bethlehem, Pa. to race in the 2018 Paul Short Run competing against over 120 teams from across the country.

Coming off of the strongest showing yet this season at the University of Delaware Invitational with 11 of the top 14 finishes, the Spiders will continue their season at the 2018 Paul Short Run. The race hosts nearly 400 teams in 14 different races, boasting more than 4,000 finishers.
The women will be looking to repeat their results from this season. Keep an eye out for senior Colleen Carney as she has won her last two races, at the Spider Alumni Open and the Delaware Invitational. Seniors Amanda Corbosiero and Courtney Thompson as well junior Ave Grosenheider, who all finished in the top five in the Delaware Invitational are expected to run this Saturday.
The Spider men are also looking for another strong race. Junior Miles Clikeman, who won the 8K race at the Delaware Invitational will lead the rest of the men this weekend. The men also claimed the majority of the top ten finishes at Delaware with seven athletes in the top eight overall.
