Dickow Takes Home Another Atlantic 10 Female Rookie of the Week Award

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – For the third time this season, freshman Kate Dickow (Lititz, Pa.) earned the Atlantic 10's Female Rookie of the Week award. Dickow earned this weekend's award after running at the Great American Cross Country Festival in Cary, North Carolina. After four races this season, Dickow has won the A-10 Female Rookie of the Week three times.
Dickow responded well after a disappointing weekend at the Virginia/Panorama Farms Invitational to end September. At the Great American Cross Country Fest, Dickow turned in a second-place finish and was the first collegiate runner in the women's 5k race. She helped lead the Spiders to a team victory as she posted a personal record time of 17:40.9 to help the Spiders earn the win.
Richmond is back in action on October 18th as it heads back to the Tar Heel State for the Pirate Invitational in Greenville, North Carolina, a meet hosted by East Carolina University.
