Men’s Lacrosse Adds Seven To Academic All-Southern Conference Team

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond placed seven student-athletes on the Southern Conference spring Academic All-Conference Team, the league office announced Tuesday. This marks the second-straight year that the Spiders have placed seven on the SoCon Academic All-Conference Team. The SoCon Academic Honor Roll will be announced later this week.

Earning the nod for the Spiders included sophomore Tim Adams (Chatham, N.J.), junior Jack Cook (Mechanicsville, Va.), senior Brett Emery (Burlington, Ontario), sophomore Ryan Murray (Philadelphia, Pa.), sophomore Brett Randall (Brighton, N.Y.), sophomore Austin Reid (Clinton, Conn.) and sophomore Jason Reynolds (Chester Springs, Pa.).

To be eligible for the academic all-conference team, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.3 cumulative grade point average at the conclusion of the spring semester and were required to compete in at least 50% of their teams' competitions. In addition, the student-athletes must have successfully completed at least three semesters at their institutions, making true freshmen and first-year transfers ineligible for inclusion.
