Richmond Football Announces Start Times For 2021 Spring Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond athletic department has announced the start times for the 2021 Spring season, which includes a six-game slate for each institution using a unique divisional format. The Spiders will be one of four teams in the South Division this spring, joining the likes of Elon, James Madison and William & Mary. Teams in the South Division will meet twice, with each team getting a home and an away game.
Richmond opens the CAA schedule Saturday, March 6 at Robins Stadium against rival William & Mary with a 1 p.m. kickoff. The Spiders will welcome Elon to Robins Stadium the following week March 13 with a 4 p.m. start. Back-to-back road games at James Madison March 20 (4 p.m.) and Elon March 27 (TBA) round out the month of March for the spring season.
The Spiders close out the home portion of the schedule with their second game against James Madison, this one at Robins Stadium April 3. Kickoff for the final home contest of the spring is set for noon. One normal part of the Spring 2021 schedule will see the Spiders close out the CAA schedule against rival William & Mary April 10 in Williamsburg with a 1 p.m. kickoff.
Television and streaming broadcast information along with attendance policies for the spring season will be announced at a later date.
