Swim and Dive Program Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors
06/30/2020 | Women's Swimming & Diving
RICHMOND, Va. – The Spider swim and dive program earned another Scholar All-America honor from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America, as announced Tuesday morning. The Spiders are one of 801 programs from 461 institutes to earn the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2020 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring grade point average and represent 17,982 student-athletes.
This was an especially trying semester for the student-athletes who saw their normal routine uprooted due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. The Spiders finished the spring semester in a remote learning environment after all students left campus in March. Richmond is joined on the list by eight other Atlantic 10 programs.
