Soccer Signee JoJo McShane Named to 2020 East All-American Team

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond women's soccer incoming freshman JoJo McShane (Philadelphia, Pa.) has been selected to the 2020 East All-American Team. McShane is one of 45 players named to compete in the High School All-American game on May 29, 2021.
The 10th annual High School All-American game is sponsored by Bimbo, Adidas and Continental Tire held in St. Louis, Mo.
"This is a tremendous honor for JoJo," head coach Marty Beall said. "We are so excited for her and this honor shows quality that she will bring to our Spider Soccer program this fall."
McShane, a native of Philadelphia, is the only player from the Atlantic 10 conference to be selected to one of the teams. McShane was named the Offensive MVP for Springside Chestnut Academy (SCH) in 2019, landed on the First Team All Inter AC MVP of the Inter-Ac league and All-State. She was named to the All-American Watch list for her senior season. McShane helped her team go 12-0 in the Inter-Ac league coming in first for the first time in school history.
The players selected are seniors who have finished their high school careers and represented their high school teams during the fall season. These players have achieved many regional and national awards and will attend some of the top universities across the country. The participants will arrive on Thursday, May 27th and will take part in team trainings and team activities. The game will be the 2020 game as it was originally scheduled for Orlando in December but was postponed.
