RICHMOND, Va. – After opening the season two weeks ago at Pole Green Park, the Spiders are back at the same location for their second race of the 2021 season. The Spider/Patriot Cross Country Classic, co-hosted with George Mason University, will feature several teams from within the state and as far north as Massachusetts.

Duquesne, George Mason, George Washington and Saint Joseph's men's and women's teams will be competing. On the women's side, the 20th-ranked Georgetown team will be racing, along with Iona, who is receiving top 25 votes in the latest USTFCCCA weekly poll.
