Women’s Track Heads to A-10 Outdoor Championship at George Mason

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond women's track and field team is gearing up for the 2021 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships, set for Saturday, May 1 through Sunday, May 2 at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Va.
Fans can watch both days of the meet on ESPN Plus or follow via live results.
Fans, please note the spectator policy: The A-10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships being hosted at George Mason Stadium will be closed to all spectators, per George Mason University protocols. This will allow for proper social distancing to occur between all teams and student-athletes. No tickets will be available to the public and teams WILL NOT be provided a pass list.
The Spiders head into the Championship Meet with top times in multiple events, led by the 800m crew of Brooke Fazio (Basking Ridge, N.J.), Maria Acosta (Maywood, N.J.), Kayla O'Connell (Marshfield, Mass.) and Kate McAndrew (Denville, N.J.). Richmond also holds the top times in the league in the 4x400m and 4x800m.
In the sprints, Tamar Accius (Jacksonville, Fla.), Kamryn Ross (Richmond, Va.) and Rachel Helbling (McDonald, Pa.) all have top-6 times in the conference in the 200m, 100m hurdles and 400m. Kayla Woods (Wilmington, Del.) has the third-best long jump distance this outdoor season.
Rookie Elizabeth Stockman (Rocky Hill, Conn.) is in the top four in both the 1500m and 5k, building of her spring cross country season for her first outdoor season.
