Women’s Lacrosse Signee Muldoon Named US Lacrosse Magazine Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond women's lacrosse incoming freshman Grace Muldoon was named US Lacrosse Magazine Mid-Atlantic Player of the Week, the organization announced Wednesday, after tallying 21 points in three victories last week.
Muldoon helped her Stone Ridge (Md.) team to two upsets of top-ranked Georgetown Visitation (DC) last weekend. In the first game, Muldoon collected a hat trick and one assist in a 15-11 victory. In the second game Muldoon led the Gators to a 13-9 victory with five goals and three assists. The midfielder also collected eight ground balls in the weekend sweep. Earlier in the week, Muldoon tallied nine points in a 20-10 victory over Good Counsel (Md.).
With the three wins, the Stone Ridge Gators move to 7-1 on the season and move up to No. 4 in the Nike / US Lacrosse Magazine High School Girls' National Top 25 poll, as well as improve to No. 2 in the Nike / US Lacrosse Magazine High School Mid-Atlantic Top-10 poll.
