Women’s Lacrosse Adds Maryland Transfer Maddy Sesay

Richmond, Va. – University of Richmond women's lacrosse head coach Allison Kwolek has announced the addition of redshirt freshman defender Maddy Sesay to the program for the 2022 season.
Sesay, a native of Fulton, Md., spent the 2021 season at the University of Maryland. A four-star Inside Lacrosse recruit, she is also an Ambassador for Nation United Lacrosse, which is a foundation that supports programs, organizations and individuals to grow the game in a diverse manner.
As a prep player, Sesay played lacrosse and ran track at Glenelg Country School, helping her squad go 41-15 overall and 28-9 in conference during her career. Sesay helped the Glenelg Country School to an IAAM B Conference 2019 Track Championship and a runner-up title in 2018.
