Richmond, Va.— The University of Richmond cross country teams travel to the Bronx's Van Cortlandt Park for the IC4A/ECAC Cross Country Championships Friday. The men's 10K race is set for 11:00 a.m., while the women will run a 6K at 11:45 a.m.
35 teams will take to VCP's crushed limestone trails for the 113th running of the IC4A championships, while the ECAC championships is in its 39th installment.
This year's meet marks the first time Richmond has ran in the event since the women took second as a team and Amanda Corbosiero won the individual title in 2017. The Spiders finished with six All-ECAC honorees on the women's side and one All-IC4A recipient on the men's.
Last time out, the Spiders strung together 13 personal-best times across the men's 8K and the women's 6K at the iconic Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh.
Friday's meet will be the final event for the Spiders before they host the Atlantic-10 Cross Country Championships at Pole Green Park on Oct. 29.
