Frank Named to NFHCA All-Region Team for Second-Straight Season

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond senior midfielder Lindsey Frank was named to the 2022 National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-South Region Second Team for a second-straight season, the association announced Tuesday.

Frank (Saratoga Springs, NY) was named to the 2022 Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team after leading the Spiders offense with a career-high eight goals and five assists for a career-high 21 points. Frank, who made 18 starts at midfield, had a season-high four points against Towson (9/4), with two assists and a goal, which kicked off a three-game scoring streak, tallying goals against Towson (9/4), Old Dominion (9/11) and Wake Forest (9/16). Frank also scored in back-to-back games against Bucknell (10/16) and UMass (10/21). Frank collected 2022 league preseason honors, First Team accolades in 2021 and All-Rookie honors in 2019.

She wrapped up her three-season Spider career with 50 points on 17 goals and 16 assists in 56 games. In 2021, she tallied seven goals and six assists for 20 points in 17 starts while she posted two goals and five assist over 21 games in her 2019 rookie campaign. A two-sport Richmond student-athlete, Frank played the spring 2021 season with the Spider Women's Lacrosse team.
