Fuller Takes First at Sunday's Cavalier Invite

Charlottesville, Va. –- Freshman Abby Fuller (Charlottesville, Va.) took first in the 100 free with a 50.76 at the Cavalier Invite Sunday. The hometown native's marks lands just one-hundredth of a second outside of the program's top 10 list.
Megan Carson (Apex, N.C.) finished second in the 1,650 free with a 17:14.85, while Petra Mijic (Split, Croatia) followed in fifth with a 17:42.44.
Laura Davis (Charlotte, N.C.) finished second in 200 breast prelims with a 2:23.69, Emma Martin (Knoxville, Tenn.) placed fourth in the 200 fly with a 2:06.85 and Claire O'Shaughnessy (Laurel, Md.) finished sixth in the 100 free with a 51.71.
The Spiders are back in the pool Feb. 16-19 at the A-10 Championships in Geneva, Ohio.
