Pinehurst, N.C.— The Richmond Spiders men's golf team finished fourth at the Forest Creek Collegiate Sunday, putting together a team score of 591 (+15) over the 36-hole, two-day tournament.
Michael Childress shot two under (70) on Sunday to lead the Spiders with a tied-for-sixth finish (+3). Lou Baker tied for tenth at 3-over, Cole Ekert finished +4 to tie for 18th, Ben Cooper shot 7-over, Alex Campbell was 10-over and Carter Cook shot 17-over.
Patrick Isztwan was at +8 and Carter Cook was +15 as individuals.
The Spiders are back on the course March 27-28 at the Seahawk Intercollegiate in North Carolina.
