Ryan Lanchbury Earns USA Lacrosse All-America Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond graduate attack Ryan Lanchbury (Burlington, Ontario) was named Honorable Mention All-America by the USA Lacrosse Magazine Tuesday night. This marks the second time in his career he has earned All-America accolades.
Lanchbury is a Tewaaraton Award Nominee this season and one of the finalists for the Senior CLASS Award. He holds the all-time scoring records for the Spiders in points (290), goals (161) and assists (121) in a career. He owns the first, second and fourth highest single season scoring totals in program history. He set the current record this year as he leads the team with 78 points on the season with 39 goals and 39 assists.
Lanchbury is a three-time First Team All-Southern Conference selection, just the fifth player in league history to accomplish that feat. He has scored a point in 58-straight games heading into the NCAA Tournament, a streak that ranks fourth-longest in the nation. He is the single season leader in program history in goals (51 in 2021), points (78 in 2022) and assists (39 in both 2021 and 2022).
Lanchbury was the first Spider in program history to be drafted into the National Lacrosse League (NLL), selected with the No. 2 overall pick by the Georgia Swarm in the 2021 NLL Entry Draft. The National Lacrosse League is a men's
