Men’s Lacrosse Freshman Connor Knight Plays In All-American Game

RICHMOND, Va. – Incoming University of Richmond freshman goalie Connor Knight (Dallas, Texas/Jesuit Dallas) played a large role in the Adrenaline Lacrosse All-American Game last weekend at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The Adrenaline All-American Game features some of the best players from the West and saw Knight help the Nationals to a 10-9 victory over the Americans.
Knight played the first half for the Nationals and made five saves. He was chosen as one of the game's standouts and one of two goalies mentioned by Lacrosse Bucket as a top player from the game.
Knight, a two-time Texas State Champion with Jesuit Dallas, was a cornerstone of the defense for the Rangers. He posted a 12-2 record in goal with 147 saves on the year. He posted double-digit saves on eight occasions as a senior, including a 17-save performance in the THSLL Class AA State Championship Game. He capped his title game with a pivotal save in the closing seconds, preserving the title for the Rangers.
Knight posted a .627 save percentage on the season and held opponents to 8.35 goals against on the year, earning All-America honors. He finished his career with a 24-4-0 record with 256 saves and a 7.44 goals against average.
