Borger Named A-10 Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week

Newport News, Va.— Peter Borger has taken home the first Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week honor of the season, announced by the conference Wednesday.
Borger finished fourth overall at the Spider Alumni Open on Saturday, running a 17:36.8 6K mark to pace the Spiders to a third place finish in the 12 team event which included Georgetown, Virginia and Atlantic 10 Conference schools Davidson, George Mason and VCU.
Up next, the Spiders head to Annapolis, Md. for the Navy Invitational on Friday, Sept. 16.
