Drum Collects Field Hockey All-Academic Honors

RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond Field Hockey forward Stevie Drum has been named to the Atlantic 10 Conference All-Academic Team, the league announced Friday as voted on by the league's field hockey Sports Information Directors.Â
Drum joins All-Atlantic 10 Second Team honorees Olivia De Cain and Alexandria Lavelle, as well as A-10 All-Rookie Team members Charly Faherty and Freya MacKay, collecting 2023 postseason honors.Â
Starting in 17 of 18 contests, Drum led the squad with 17 points on eight goals with one assist. She started the season with a three-point game against JMU, tallying the second goal and helping on the third in the shutout victory. Drum scored in five-straight games (Sept. 17-Oct. 8), including tallying goals against non-conference opponents Georgetown, the game winner at Queens, Towson and Yale. She scored against Atlantic 10 opponents Saint Louis, Lock Haven and La Salle.
