Richmond Athletics Announces Change in Field Hockey Program Leadership

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond Athletics will not renew the expiring contract of Field Hockey Head Coach Jamie Montgomery, the department announced Monday.
"I'd like to thank Jamie for her service and many contributions to Spider Field Hockey and all of Richmond Athletics," said Vice President and Director of Athletics John Hardt. "Under Jamie's leadership, many field hockey student-athletes have been recognized for their athletic and scholastic achievements. I appreciate all she has done to support our student-athletes and wish her the very best going forward."
A national search for Richmond's next head field hockey coach will begin immediately.
