Corso Named Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond's Vincent Corso was named Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. This is Corso's first weekly honor and the squad's second of the season.
In two appearances last week, Corso collected two victories after scattering two runs, one earned, on three hits, two hit batters and one walk with 10 strikeouts over 10 innings of work against Merrimack and Rider. Corso tossed six innings in scoreless relief to collect the victory over Rider March 12, striking out five.
The Spiders are back in action Wednesday, heading to Farmville to take on the Longwood Lancers for a 4 p.m. contest on ESPN+ at Buddy Bolding Stadium.
