Spiders Defeat William & Mary Sunday Afternoon

RICHMOND, Va. – For the first time in program history, the University of Richmond Women's Tennis team picked up a key 4-1 win over visiting William & Mary Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Spiders head into the last week of the regular season with a 7-14 record and will take on Saint Joseph's on Apr. 21 at 1 p.m. for the final Atlantic 10 contest of the year.
"The team played an awesome match today," said Head Coach Jacob Dunbar. "This whole weekend was a really big step for us. They fought incredibly hard and brought the energy from start to finish. It's great to see as we step into this part of the season and we're very proud of them."
