Vigue Takes Home Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Richmond, Va. — University of Richmond men's lacrosse goalie Zach Vigue has been named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week following his performance against No. 3 Virginia Saturday.
Vigue earns the honor after he posted 17 saves, the third most of his career and seventh most ever by any Spider goalie during Richmond's 14-10 loss to the Cavaliers. The redshirt junior from Apex, N.C. recorded a pair of ground balls in the contest as well.
Up next, Vigue and the Spiders host St. John's at noon on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Robins Stadium.
