Vigue Tabbed Defensive Player of the Week for Second Week in a Row

Richmond, Va. — For the second week in a row, University of Richmond redshirt junior lacrosse goalie Zach Vigue has been named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week.
Vigue earns the honor after helping Richmond to a 18-2 win over St. John's on Saturday. Vigue made 15 saves in the win and the two goals allowed are the least by a Richmond opponent since April 4, 2015 when Richmond beat Furman at home, 8-2. So far this season Vigue has helped the Spiders rank seventh in the nation and first in the A-10 in scoring defense, holding teams to 8.25 points per game.
Up next, Vigue and the Spiders will be back in action Saturday, March 2 when they welcomes Binghamton to Robins Stadium at noon.
