Black History Month Spider Spotlight: Jaide Hinds-Clarke

In recognition of Black History Month, current Spider student-athletes are interviewing some of the most accomplished Black alumni of Spider Athletics to discuss the process of becoming a Spider, their time on campus, and how what they learned at Richmond has helped them personally and professionally. Jaide Hinds-Clarke graduated from Richmond in 2020 after double majoring in Sociology and Leadership. During her time at Richmond, Hinds-Clarke was a leading member of the Spider women's basketball team, scoring 1,000 points and earning All-Conference honors as a senior. Hinds-Clarke worked for Richmond Athletics following graduation, and is now a Training Associate at The Trevor Project, a nonprofit organization that focuses on suicide prevention efforts among LGBTQ youth.
