Grayum Collects Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week Honors

Richmond, Va. — University of Richmond attackman Luke Grayumw was named Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday.
Grayum earns the award after leading the Spiders offense during its 19-10 win over Binghamton last Saturday. Grayum netted seven goals, the most of his career and tied the program record for most in a single game set by Richie Connell March 20, 2021 at Bellarmine. On top of his high-scoring day, Grayum helped the Spiders transition defense with a pair of caused turnovers.
Grayum has helped the Spiders to rank third in the nation in scoring margin, tallying an average of 7.20 more goals a game than their opponent. Richmond's scoring offense is ranked sixth with 16.20 goals per game. Both figures rank first in the Atlantic 10.
Up next, Richmond hits the road for its first true road game of the year when the Spiders take on UMBC at 4:00 on Friday.
