Women’s Track & Field Set to Compete at Larry Ellis Invitational

Richmond, Va. – The University of Richmond women's track and field program will send sixteen Spiders to compete at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton through April 12-13.
Competition will open at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Follow live results here.
Last week the Spiders split into groups as one squad attended the Colonial Relays at William & Mary and the other traveled to Miami, FL for the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational. Elizabeth Stockman led the program as she won the 3K steeplechase at 10:32.83 in the 58th annual Colonial Relays. This was her first time ever running the event. Her mark ranks No. 2 in program history behind 2011 All-American, Nicol Traynor. Her time currently stands at No. 1 in the Atlantic 10, No. 7 in the ECAC, No. 17 in the NCAA East region and No. 36 in the NCAA nationally. Stockman continues to accept any challenge handed to her, winning races in every meet she has attended this season against some of the best competition in the country. Her efforts gained the attention around the community as she earned her fifth Atlantic 10 Track Performer of the Week honors in 2024.
Gabrielle Cummings found success at the Colonial Relays as well, finishing in 4th place in the 400m with a personal best of 56.74. This mark currently ranks No. 5 in the Atlantic 10 and No. 42 in the ECAC.
