Women's Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond women's lacrosse head coach Anne Harrington announced the Spiders' 2026 schedule on Thursday. The 16-game regular season features nine home games at Robins Stadium and seven road contests.

The 2026 slate includes two opponents ranked in the top 25: Virginia and Duke.

Richmond opens the season at Robins Stadium against Penn State on Saturday, Feb. 7. Last year, the Spiders defeated the Nittany Lions for the first time in program history with a 12–10 victory in University Park.

Four days later, Richmond will travel to Virginia for a midweek match up on Wednesday, Feb. 11.

The following week, the Spiders will visit Harrington's alma mater, William & Mary, for a midweek game on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

Closing out February, Richmond will host Duke on Saturday, Feb. 21 and will travel to Liberty on Saturday, Feb. 28.

The Spiders open March with Atlantic 10 Conference play, hosting VCU on Saturday, March 7 at Cary Street Field. Richmond will welcome second-year program Rhode Island on Saturday, March 14. On Wednesday, March 18, the Spiders will travel to Northern Virginia to face George Mason.

Saint Joseph's visits Robins Stadium on Saturday, March 21, followed by St. Bonaventure on Saturday, March 28.

Richmond will meet the University of South Florida for the first time on Monday, March 30Â the Spiders' lone Monday contest of the season.

A-10 play continues as Richmond travels to La Salle on Saturday, April 4.

The Spiders then begin a three-game homestand, hosting George Washington on Saturday, April 11 and non-conference opponent James Madison on Tuesday, April 14. Richmond's final regular-season home game is set for Saturday, April 18 against Davidson.

Closing out the regular season, the Spiders will travel to Pittsburgh to face Duquesne on Saturday, April 25.

The A-10 Championship is scheduled for Thursday, April 30 through Sunday, May 3, hosted by Davidson College.
