RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond's Clara Larripa has been named as a National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-American Third Team honoree sponsored by Apex Field Hockey, the group announced Tuesday.
Larripa, one of 48 national honorees, becomes the first Spider field hockey representative to collect an All-American honor since Amy Cooke earned 2015 Longstreth / NFHCA All-America Third Team accolades 10 years ago. She is also the only Atlantic 10 Conference honoree.
Larripa finished the 2025 season with 48 points on a career-high 20 goals and eight assists to lead the Spiders to the program's first Atlantic 10 Conference regular season title since 2015. She tallied a hat trick in the A-10 Semifinals against Davidson to help UR advance to the A-10 Championship contest for the first time since 2019 and earned All-Championship Team accolades at the conclusion of the event.
In the regular season, Larripa tallied points in all six conference games for Richmond, scoring or assisting on overtime game-winning goals against La Salle and VCU, and scoring the game-winner against Saint Joseph's.
Larripa also collected her third-straight All-Atlantic 10 First Team honors and second-straight A-10 All-Academic accolades.
Larripa finished the season ranked in the top 10 in the country averaging 1.00 goal per game and 2.40 points per game.
