Merklinger Recognized As A-10 Offensive Player of the Week

Richmond, Va. – University of Richmond attackman Max Merklinger has been named this week's Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday.
Merklinger takes home the award after two standout performances in Richmond's wins last week against Mercyhurst and UMBC.
Against Mercyhurst, Merklinger tallied a career-high four points against the Lakers (3 goals, 1 assist), before following up that performance with a new career-high six points via five goals and an assist against the Retrievers.
Up next, Merklinger and the Spiders host No. 8 Duke at Robins Stadium this Saturday, March 15 at noon.
