O'Neil Earns Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week Honors

Richmond, Va. – Senior attackman Aidan O'Neil has been named the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week following his performance in Richmond's statement 18-12 win over No. 13 Virginia on Saturday.
O'Neil recorded his second six-point game of the season, scoring five goals and adding an assist — just one week after tallying five assists and one goal — highlighting his versatility and leadership in powering the Spiders' offense. He was also effective in the ride, adding a caused turnover.
Making his 52nd career start Saturday, O'Neil notched his 36th career multi-point game and his ninth with five or more points. Following the win over Virginia, he ranks fourth all-time in program history with 151 career points and continues to climb the record book.
O'Neil and the Spiders return to action Saturday at noon when they host Lehigh.
