O'Neil Named A-10 Offensive Player of the Week

Richmond, Va. — University of Richmond senior attackman Aidan O'Neil has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week following his standout performance in Richmond's 21–7 win over UMass. O'Neil tied his season high with a game-best seven points, recording three goals and matching a season-high four assists, helping propel the Spiders to an 8–0 start to the season.
He leads the Spiders with 40 points (18 goals, a team-high 22 assists) and has been instrumental in Richmond ranking third in the nation in assists per game (9.50) and second in scoring offense (15.75). Individually, he ranks third nationally in assists per game (2.75) and seventh in points per game.
O'Neil and the Spiders host Hobart Saturday at 2:00.
