"We can always count on VCU to challenge every possession. They showed up ready to compete," head coach Anne Harrington said. "We were proud of our four quarters of play today as we opened our conference schedule with a win. Our draw unit got us a lot of extra possessions. We did a great job sharing the ball offensively and giving Alexis some nice targets for her feeds. I'm excited to continue building our chemistry as we move into this next part of our season."
