Morton Named ILWomen Nike Lacrosse Media All-American

RICHMOND, Va. – ILWomen announced its Division I women's All-Americans on Friday, honoring the top individual performers of the 2026 season. Among the honorees was senior attacker Alexis Morton, who earned ILWomen Nike Lacrosse Media All-America honorable mention honors.
Morton was one of 78 players recognized and the lone student-athlete from the Atlantic 10 Conference to earn All-America honors.
Morton capped a record-breaking senior season by earning Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year honor, first-team all-conference recognition and ILWomen Nike Lacrosse Midseason Media All-America honorable mention accolades and USA Lacrosse All-America honorable mention honors. She also was a three-time Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week selection.
In 17 games, Morton totaled 99 points on 57 goals and 42 assists. She finished with a .765 shots-on-goal percentage and a .559 shooting percentage while adding seven ground balls and seven caused turnovers.
Morton helped lead Richmond to one of the nation's top offenses. The Spiders ranked sixth nationally in scoring offense and points per game, ninth in total points, 17th in goals per game and 19th in assists per game. Morton also ranked 20th nationally in shooting percentage.
Within the Atlantic 10, Morton led the conference with 5.82 points per game. She ranked third in goals per game at 3.35 and second in assists per game at 2.47.
Morton also set the Richmond single-season record with 99 points and tied the program's single-game record twice with 11-point performances against VCU and Duquesne. She led the team in points, goals, assists and shooting percentage among players with at least 10 shots. Morton recorded 10 games with at least five points and three games with 10 or more points.
