2015 (Redshirt Senior)
• Transferred to Richmond folliowing completion of his undergraduate degree at VMI, joined the Spiders in the graduate program for Nonprofit Studies
• Preseason All-Southern Conference, as voted on by league's head coaches
• Southern Conference Honor Roll
• Member of program's first senior class
• One of 17 Spiders to play in all 16 season games, starting 15 contests
• Set the Spiders single-season record and led the Southern Conference with four game-winning goals
• Finished third in the league and led the Spiders with five man-up goals
• Registered a point in his first nine games, running his career-best point-scoring streak to 23
• Scored a goal in 13 games (team was 10-3 when he scored a goal)
• Third on the team with 28 goals and finished third on the squad with 37 points
• Finished eighth in the Southern Conference in goals per game
• Assisted on at least one goal in six games, reaching a second single-game assist three times
• Tied for second on the team with four hat tricks (team was 4-0 in those games)
• Set a career-high with six points (four goals, two assists) in home win over NJIT on 3/23

• Caused three turnovers, including two in the season finale, th Southern Conference Tournament Championship game against High Point, 5/2
2014 (Redshirt Junior)
• Led VMI offensively, finishing third in the Atlantic Sun Conference in goals per game by scoring 30 goals and adding 11 assists (10th in the league in assists per contest) for a team-leading 41 points, fifth-most in the league
• Registered at least one point in all 14 games, including three-straight games with at least three goals to finish his VMI career
• Scored five goals in the 7-6 double overtime win over Richmond in the regular-season finale
2013 (Redshirt Sophomore)
• Redshirted, Sat out the entire season with a lower body injury.
2012 (Sophomore)
• Played and started in eight games as a sophomore, missing the first six games of the year with a lower body injury
• Despite missing half the season, finished with 13 points on six goals and seven assists … scored a man-up goal against Mercer (Apr. 14)
• Logged four multi-point games, including four points against Wagner (Mar. 13) with two goals and two assists in VMI’s first win of 2012
• Finished fifth on the team in points and second in assists, including a season-high seven versus Marist (Mar. 31)
• Nabbed one groundball in seven of his games, finishing with 12
2011 (Freshman)
• Made collegiate debut against UVa (2/28), assisting on a man-up goal
• Had pair of ground ball pickups against the Cavs
• Five assists against Presbyterian College (3/12) ranks third all-time in a single game in the VMI record books in first collegiate start
• Scored twice against PC, had five ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers
• Had three assists and three ground balls against Bellarmine (3/16)
• Compiled two goals and two assists for four points against Detroit, also causing a turnover in the loss
Prep
• Played four seasons for Williamsburg Warriors lacrosse club, where he compiled 372 career points
• Scored 42 goals as a sophomore and had 38 assists as a junior
Personal
• Son of Bridget and Mark Hofmeister
• Has three brothers, Dan, Steve and Tim, Dan and Steve both played lacrosse at Virginia Wesleyan
