2011 (Senior): Made 16 appearances, starting 10 games ... Posted a team-best 7-3 record, tying Bret Williams for the team-lead in wins ... Posted a 3.57 ERA, striking out 36 ... In the second game of the year, came out of the bullpen to pitch 7.0 innings, allowing just two runs ... Pitched a season-high 9.0 shutout frames at Charlotte on May 7, striking out four while walking just one ... Earned his seventh win of the year against Saint Joseph's on May 20, pitching 6.0 strong innings, while allowing just one earned run.
2010 (Junior): Fired a career-high 62.1
innings as Richmond's No. 3 starter... Struck out 39 against just 20 walks in
his 15 appearances (11 starts)... Was 1-5 on the season, but in three of the
losses, he received three or less runs of support... Fanned a season-high five
batters over 5.2 innings in a 2-1 win at High Point (no decision)... Picked up
his fourth career win with a 5.0-inning effort versus Wagner.
2009 (Sophomore): Posted the
team's second-lowest ERA as a sophomore and was 3-2 in 11 appearances with five
starts... Struck out 22 against 10 walks in 34.1 innings... All five of his
starts came in A-10 play where he went 2-2... Went a career-long 6.1 innings
with five strikeouts to get a win over Dayton, 8-4... Pitched two scoreless
frames and got the win over Massachusetts, 4-3... Missed the final month of the
season with an arm injury.
2008 (Freshman): Pitcher 29.1
innings on the season and made six starts in weekday action... Fanned a
career-high eight batters in five innings of work versus Longwood... The
Longwood outing was his longest of the season but was on the short end of a 3-2
decision... Pitched three scoreless innings (one hit, two Ks) to record his
first collegiate save versus Temple on April 11... Fanned three in 1.2 innings
of work in a 7-6 late-season win over Norfolk State.
Personal: Right-handed pitcher
from Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia... Helped guide his team to an 8-2
mark in the Philadelphia Inter-AC League on his way to First Team All-League
and League MVP honors... It marked his fourth-consecutive year on the
All-League Team and third-straight as a first-teamer.
