Bio
2024 Season (Sophomore):
- Collected the start and the victory against William & Mary (Sept. 1) allowing one goal and made two saves
- Finished the season with three total saves and four goals allowed on 17 shots faced
- Saw time between the pipes against Towson, UMass, VCU and Saint Joseph's
- Credited with a combined shutout of VCU (Nov. 1), making one save on six shots faced to help the squad to a three seed in the 2024 Atlantic 10 Conference Championship
2023 Season (Freshman):
- Made two appearances with a start against La Salle in her rookie season
- Took the loss against conference foe La Salle, making 13 saves, including keeping the Explorers off the board in the fourth quarter
- Also saw action against Longwood, allowing one goal in 15 minutes of action
- Four-year member of the Shady Side Academy field hockey program
- Named team MVP in 2021 and 2022 and served as team captain as a senior in 2022
- Awarded Class IA WPIAL All-Selection in 2021 and 2022
- Voted to the All-WPIAL Team in 2022
- Helped the Shady Side field hockey program to three-straight WPIAL Championships in 2019, 2020 and 2021 and advanced to PIAA playoff in each of those seasons with a PIAA semifinal appearance in 2020
- In club field hockey action: advanced to National Indoor Tournament with Team Golden Triangle FHC in 2021 and with Pittsburgh Venom FHC in 2023.
- Participated in NEXUS program and secured spots in the NEXUS Championship in 2021 and 2022. Won Silver with team Athens in 2021 and gold with team Barcelona in 2022.
Personal:
- Daughter of Kara and Dean Conomikes and younger sister of Alexa and Zoe
- Alexa is a field hockey alumna of the Columbia University program (2017-2021) while Zoe is a current field hockey student-athlete at University of Rochester (2021-present)
- Founder of the Mental Health Awareness and Research Club at Shady Side
- A three-year member of the Shady Side varsity girls lacrosse team
