Grant Sarver enters his first season as an assistant coach with the men's tennis team.Â

As a Senior (2020)
- Earned a Player of the Week nod for his efforts in the season opener (Feb. 24)
- Earned three singles wins, all at the #1 Flight
- Earned three doubles wins, going undefeated with partner Jake Ferner at the #1 Flight
- Competed at the River City Tennis Open in the Fall against Division I opponents. Sarver earned two wins against opponents from Virginia Tech and George Mason. In doubles, he and Ferner defeated their opponent from Campbell.
As a Junior (2019)
- All-ODAC Second Team
- ODAC Player of the Week (April 29)
- Earned a 6-2 record in singles play, all at the No. 1 flight
- Won against regionally-ranked opponent from Washington and Lee on April 27 in a 6-1, 2-6, 1-0 (10-4) decision. The win was the first regionally-ranked win in recent memory for an R-MC Tennis player
- Earned other critical wins against Roanoke, Guilford and Lynchburg
- Earned five doubles wins with partner Ryan Aud at the No. 1 Doubles flight
- The duo earned critical wins against Virginia Wesleyan (twice), Randolph and Ferrum
As a Sophomore (2018)
- ODAC Player of the Week (March 12)
- Held an overall record of 10-5 and a conference record of 7-3
- Went 10-3 in singles as the #2 seed for the Yellow JacketsÂ
- Swept his matches vs. Emory & Henry (6-0, 6-0) and vs. Penn St-Abington (6-0, 6-0)
- Tallied an 8-5 overall and 4-4 in the conference with doubles partner Erik Moulton
- Recorded a 1-0 record with Luke Pratson at the 3# seed in doubles
As a Freshman (2017)
- Went 12-4 in singles action, including an 8-2 ODAC record
- Played in both the number 3 and number 2 spots in 2017
- With partner Baxter Carter, went 8-8 and 5-5 in conference play in the number 1 doubles spot
High School
- Attended Godwin H.S. where he lettered in tennis all four years
- Served as the Team Captain (2017)
- As a junior, he won the Regional Doubles Championship and reached the State Doubles Finals
- Played in the No. 1 spot for both singles and doubles (2017)
- Received the Tennis Coaches award his junior and senior year
- Reached the top 60 in USTA Mid-Atlantic ranking
