Justin Clift

Justin Clift is in his third year at the University of Richmond in 2019-20 and his second year as the Director of Equipment Operations. Clift spent his first season as the head football equipment manager for the Spiders.
Prior to Richmond, Clift spent two seasons in the Washington Nationals organization as the clubhouse manager for the Syracuse Chiefs and the Potomac Nationals. He spent seven years in the Atlanta Braves organizations as the Minor League Equipment Manager/Florida Operations Coordinator. He oversaw the entire Braves’ minor league equipment staffs throughout the organization.
Clift’s first stint in the city of Richmond came over 10 years ago, spending two years with the Richmond Braves in 2006 and 2007 as Clubhouse Manager. He also was an assistant baseball coach at VCU for two seasons prior while also having coaching experience with the Outer Banks Daredevils, the Peninsula Pilots and Radford as a student assistant coach.
Clift earned his Bachelor of Science in exercise, sport and health education from Radford in 2004. He earned his Master of Science in recreation, parks and sports leadership from VCU in 2005.
