RADFORD, Va. (AP) - Tony Dobbins had 17 points and 12 rebounds as Richmond defeated Radford 62-52 and the Highlanders' 17-game home winning streak ended.

The Spiders are 3-0 for the first time since 1985-86. They led 33-24 at halftime and broke away with a 13-3 run in the second period.

Richmond had 12 steals, led by Dobbins with six.

The Highlanders (2-4) got 12 points each from Correy Watkins and Andrey Savtchenko, who also had 14 rebounds.

Eric Zwayer added 15 points and seven rebounds for the Spiders.
