UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - The 2002-03 men's and women's tennis teams are both prepared to defend their Atlantic 10 titles and return to NCAA tournament action.
Last season, in their inaugural year of Atlantic 10 competition, both the men's and women's teams dominated conference play on their way to winning their respective conference championships.
On the women's side, head coach Vanessa Bagnato was named to the All-Conference Team.
For the men, head coach Steve Gerstenfeld was named Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year and sophomores David Donn and Niki Doll were selected to the All-Conference Team.
Richmond's spring seasons begin in January, with the men traveling to William and Mary on the 18th and the women heading to Chapel Hill on the 22nd to face North Carolina.
