Baseball Game With Liberty Cancelled

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Because of inclement weather, this afternoon's college baseball game between the University of Richmond and Liberty University has been cancelled. The Spiders and Flames were scoreless after two innings when the rain hit Pitt Field.
Richmond (38-8, 16-2 Atlantic 10) returns to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 with an Atlantic 10 doubleheader against La Salle. The Saturday games will be played at Pitt Field, while the series finale starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 at Sheppard Stadium in Colonial Heights. The Flames (24-19-1) return to action with a 4 p.m. doubleheader at UNC Wilmington on Saturday, May 4.
