PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Freshman Jana Ebert (Leipzig, Germany) and sophomore Allie Howard (Lancaster, Pa.) scored two goals apiece as the University of Richmond field hockey team began Atlantic 10 action, with a 4-0 victory over West Chester University in Philadelphia, Pa., this afternoon.
The Spiders (10-2,1-0) scored three goals in the first half and one in the second as they shutout the Golden Rams (3-8).
Richmond is back in action on Sunday, October 12th when they travel to face LaSalle University with game time scheduled for noon.
