UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond women's lacrosse guide is now online and available for your reading pleasure. Get the inside scoop on the coming season and read about your favorite Spider lacrosse players.
The Spiders are ranked 19th in the IWLCA preseason poll and will face four preseason Top-20 teams including the 2002 national runner-up Georgetown. The Spiders garnered votes in the national poll last season for the first time in 14 years, but never broke into the Top-20.
Richmond, on their way to recording a program-best 12 wins last season, finished second in the Atlantic 10 conference.
The Spiders open the season on Friday, February 28 when they host Georgetown at Lacrosse Field on the University of Richmond campus at 3:30 p.m.
