GREENSBORO, NC - Richmond defeated the UNC Greensboro men's tennis team 6-1 Saturday afternoon at the Piedmont Indoor Tennis Complex.
Richmond's David Donn got the Spiders rolling with a tough 7-5, 7-6, victory over Julio Moran in No. 1 singles. Niki Doll then posted a 6-4, 6-4, victory over Pieter Visser at No. 2. UNCG's Marc Ladouceur picked up the Spartans' lone win of the afternoon with a 7-5, 7-6, decision over Matthew Cabana. In the four spot, Derek Schwandt picked up a 6-4, 6-3, victory over UNCG's Rohan Kronti. Richmond's Dan Scrafford and Jeppy Moss each posted 6-0, 6-0, victories over Kshitij Gujarati and Eric Johnson, respectively.
