Men's Tennis Falls Short At VCU Invitational

RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team concluded its first weekend of play with a loss to the Temple Owls and the Old Dominion Monarchs on Sunday at the VCU Invitational at the Thalhimer Tennis Center. Freshman Sami Belakhlef earned his first collegiate victory in his singles match, while Chris Louis and David Berry earned a win at the No. 1 doubles spot in the Spiders' 3-2 loss to the Owls. The Spiders, now 0-5, will return to action on Feb. 3 when they will host Washington & Lee at 5:30 p.m.
