RALEIGH, N.C. - The Richmond women's tennis team continued its fall season at the Wolfpack Fall Invitational where it enjoyed much success throughout the weekend.

In the A2 Flight, Richmond's Robin Carter and Pamela Duran ousted the Wolfpack's top entries in straight set semifinals to set up an all Richmond final. Duran then prevailed in one of the best matches off the tournament 7-6 (4), 6-4.
The A3 Flight saw sophomore Ashlee Vosters lose a tough semifinal before closing out East Carolina's Luiza Borges, 6-1, 6-2, for third place.
The Spiders' top doubles team of Grasu and Duran won the A1 Doubles, beating NC State's top duo of Alle Guerra and Daria Petrovic, 9-7.
The top Spiders will compete against some of the strongest players in the country in their final fall competition at the East Regional Championships at Dartmouth, October 20-24.
