Crank Will Not Play Basketball

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Head Men's Basketball Coach Drew Crank will not be a member of the 2007-08 team.
Crank will continue taking classes at Richmond and is scheduled to graduate in May.
"We support Drew's decision as he pursues other interests during his final year of college," Mooney said. "We thank him for his contribution to the program."
Crank, a native of Lynchburg, Va., played in 84 games for the Spiders over the last three years, averaging 3.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game for his career.
