
Women's Tennis Falls At No. 51 NC State

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Spiders' number one player Pamela Duran took down the Wolfpack's nationally ranked player Daria Petrovic in singles play, 1-6, 6-2, 10-7 as Richmond fell to NC State 6-1. Duran also earned a win in doubles action with her partner Ashlee Vosters taking down the team of Petrovic and Berkeley Brock to earn Richmond's lone point of the match.
Duran was the only Spiders able to earn a victory over the powerful No. 51 Wolfpack on Friday, March 14 in Raleigh, N.C. The junior fought hard to come back from a 1-6 set to beat out No. 112 Petrovic.
Duran and Vosters teamed up in doubles action to take down Petrovic and NC State's No. 2 player Berkeley Brock in a close match, 8-7(1).
Richmond turns around to play at Charlotte Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. ET.
